About Me

In 2009, I became involved with a group of users who embraced Twitter as a way to connect with other automotive enthusiasts around the world. That same year I established TheIgnitionBlog.com as a format to cover the latest news and events surrounding Southern California car culture. Over the years I have built relationships with nearly every major automotive OEM such as General Motors, Infiniti, Audi, and Stellantis to create unique content that engages with the local audience.

From 2011 to 2018, I worked as the Automotive Community and Content Manager with Internet Brands Automotive. Within that role, I helped grow their automotive communities into the “Top 5” largest Automotive networks online, amongst major competitors like eBay Motors and Autotrader. In addition to managing the creation and distribution of automotive enthusiast content to over 30 million unique monthly visitors, I actively contributed content surrounding the latest tech and shopping news for DigitalTrends.com and SlickDeals.net.

As of 2018, I’m working as the North American Marketing Manager for Motul performance lubricants. This role includes handling all digital points of influence including e-tailers, influencers, blogs, forums, social media content, and community management. I am responsible for developing all branded events, managing the segment budget, directing consumer-driven campaigns, and guiding the overall marketing strategy. As Marketing Manager, I also have the pleasure of working closely with sponsored athletes, technical partners, and major race series to support their efforts and promote the race-proven performance of Motul products.
